Supported by the Provost’s Office and the Hilldale Fund, the Hilldale Undergraduate/Faculty Research Fellowships provide undergraduate students with $4,000 to pursue an independent research project under the mentorship of UW–Madison faculty or staff. Two UW–Madison undergraduate students with mentors in our department received Hilldale Undergraduate/Faculty Research Fellowships for the 2026-2027 academic year:
- Nina Anglim and Taylor House, MD, assistant professor in the Division of Nephrology, for their project, “Online Health of Adolescent and Young Adult Organ Transplant Recipients”
- Kierstin Schlevensky and Rebecca (Becky) Richards, MD, PhD, assistant professor in the Division of Hematology, Oncology, Transplant, and Cellular Therapy, for their project, “Developing CD123-Targeting NOT-Gated CAR T Cells for Acute Myeloid Leukemia Therapy”
