Haroon Ali, MD
Dr. Haroon Ali is a first-year pediatric hospital medicine fellow at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. He previously trained at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria, where he completed pediatric residency, chief residency, simulation fellowship, and two years as a pediatric hospitalist. His research interests include medical education, pediatric sedation, medical simulation, and quality improvement.
As a chief resident, Dr. Ali participated in multiple program level initiatives, including the switch to a modified x+y scheduling system. He has participated in multiple QI projects and was the site lead for a national AAP VIP QI project on high flow nasal cannula use in bronchiolitis. He has experience designing, running, and facilitating simulation at the medical student, resident, fellow, and faculty level, and is currently helping to produce a simulation curriculum to train new fellows on taking interhospital transfer calls. He is also currently conducting research on the necessity of fentanyl use in deep sedation for pediatric lumbar punctures.

Cris Ebby, MD
Dr. Cris Ebby is a first-year pediatric hospital medicine fellow. He started his medical training on the East Coast and joined us after completing his Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of California San Diego. His research interests include medical education and clinical informatics, specifically focusing on how providers and patients interact with the electronic medical record.
