A UW Health Adult Congenital Heart Disease team from the Department of Pediatrics received an award from The Arc-Dane County for its work with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Heather Bartlett, MD (right), and Nicholas Von Bergen, MD, both professors in the Division of Cardiology and both with joint appointments in the Department of Medicine, with Jenna Torgeson, NP (left), a pediatric nurse practitioner in the Division of Cardiology, were all honored at a banquet and awards program held on June 4 at Quivey’s Grove in Fitchburg. The Department of Pediatrics members were nominated by a family who deeply appreciated the excellent care their loved one received from the entire Adult Congenital Heart Disease team at UW Health.
