Two graduate research assistants in the Pattnaik Lab — Sehrish Afsheen and Allison Spillane — received travel grants to attend the 16th Biennial Scientific Meeting of the Association for Ocular Pharmacology and Therapeutics. Bikash Pattnaik, PhD, associate professor, Division of Neonatology and Newborn Nursery, leads the Pattnaik Lab. The travel awards will support registration, travel, and lodging fees for the conference, which takes place August 10–13, 2023, in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Association for Ocular Pharmacology and Therapeutics is a global organization with a multi-national membership.
