Kristin Shadman joins executive committee of the Quality and Safety Improvement Scholars Program of the Academic Pediatric Association

Kristin Shadman, MD, professor, Division of Hospital Medicine, and director of quality improvement scholarship for the Department of Pediatrics, was appointed to the executive committee for the Quality and Safety Improvement Scholars (QSIS) Program of the Academic Pediatric Association. The QSIS Program is a three-year faculty development program designed to help APA members enhance their academic credentials in the area of quality and safety improvement science to develop into productive, advancing, and fulfilled faculty members. As a member of the program’s executive committee, Shadman will help guide program curriculum, develop new scholarly resources, and mentor faculty participants individually and in small group settings. Shadman’s term began in June 2023.
