The UW DATA Group, within the Division of Hospital Medicine and Complex Care, is a quantitative division scholarly group dedicated to the development and analysis of clinical or health services research through consultative design and analytical support.

Our Services
The DATA group offers comprehensive study design and analytical support through the UW Hospital Medicine and Complex Care Consultation Service. If you would like to work with DATA Group long-term, we offer a DATA Group research mentorship. DATA Group meets bi-weekly to support our members’ research endeavors from conceptualization to dissemination through collaboration, analytical support, and constructive feedback. We also curate a list of datasets available for analysis, ranging from primary data collected by our team members to national datasets available for public use.
We host a journal club every other month to foster a collaborative learning environment and stay updated with the latest research in our field. We aim to critically appraise recent findings, discuss their implications for study design and analysis, and explore innovative methodologies.
