Professional Activities
Dr. Laura Chen is assistant professor (CHS) in the Division of Hospital Medicine and Complex Care. Her professional interests include using quality improvement methods to enhance the care of patients with limited English proficiency. She is passionate about medical education and has received several teaching awards, most recently the Clinical Teacher award from the University of Wisconsin’s Family Medicine Residency in 2022.
Clinical Interests
Chen is a pediatric hospitalist interested in providing evidence-based, high-quality care to hospitalized patients.
Research Interests
Chen’s recent research focuses on strategies to reduce hospitalizations for children with medical complexity.
