SMAHRT student scholars to present summer research

The Social Media and Adolescent Health Research Team, or SMAHRT, led by Megan Moreno, MD, MSED, MPH, vice chair of academic affairs and professor and division chief, General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, invite members of the Department of Pediatrics and colleagues throughout the School of Medicine and Public Health to the Summer Research Scholars (SRS) virtual poster presentation on Friday, July 30, 2021, from 12 – 2 p.m. CT. 

SRS is a virtual, eight-week research program for high school students. During the program, students complete their own independent research projects. At the upcoming virtual poster presentation, scholars will be presenting their research in the field of social media and adolescent health. Their work explores a variety of topics including mental health, Covid-19, social justice, representation, and virtual school.
