What Makes the UW Peds Endo Program Special?
Fellows at the Heart of the Division
The enthusiasm, success and happiness of our fellows serves as a motivator for enthusiasm, success and happiness of the division overall. Fellows play an active role in the division’s growth, decision-making and become a part of our family well beyond the 3 years of fellowship.
Fellow-centered Research Projects
We believe gaining experience and skills in research is best achieved by embarking on an idea that you are passionate about. With the mentoring and support of faculty members, fellows dive into the planning, grant writing and IRB application for their own research projects in the first year of training.
Madison, Wisconsin, home of the University of Wisconsin, the timeless Memorial Union Terrace, and the vibrant Madison Farmer’s Market, is also the place UW pediatric endocrinology fellows are lucky to call home. The University offers boundless options for collaboration with researches across campus including the Wisconsin Newborn Screening Lab, and the city offers many advocacy, culture, dining and exploring opportunities.
