Sinisa (Sunny) Dovat, MD, is a recent recipient of a St. Baldrick’s Career Development Award that will provide $110,000 in support for three years with eligibility for additional funding for years four and five. St. Baldrick’s is the world’s largest volunteer-driven fundraising event for childhood cancer research. Established in 2000, it has sponsored fundraising events that have taken place in 18 countries and 48 U.S. states, raising over $49.5 million.
