Division of Nephrology at PAS 2025

Three members of the Division of Nephrology will participate in the 2025 Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii, April 24–28.

Sharon Bartosh, MD, professor and division chief, is one of three chairs of the daylong pre-conference program, “Comprehensive Review and Updates in Pediatric Kidney Transplantation — From Aloha to A Hui Hou,” which will take place on April 25. Bartosh will serve as a moderator throughout the day’s presentations. The course is designed to deliver an overview of current research advances and clinical practice strategies in pediatric kidney transplantation.

Rachel Engen, MD, assistant professor, will be one of the presenters in the April 25 pre-conference program, “Comprehensive Review and Updates in Pediatric Kidney Transplantation — From Aloha to A Hui Hou.” Engen is slated to present her oral abstract, “Induction and Maintenance Immunosuppression Strategies.”

Taylor House, MD, assistant professor, will lead a workshop, “Walking in Their Shoes: Palliative Care in Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) Care Across the Lifespan,” on April 25.
