Awni Al-Subu, MD, professor, Division of Critical Care, was appointed interim chief medical officer for American Family Children’s Hospital (AFCH). An accomplished pediatric critical care physician and physician leader, Al-Subu brings a strong record of advancing quality, safety, clinical innovation, and team-based care to this interim role. Al-Subu will provide physician leadership for AFCH and partner closely with the hospital’s president and chief nursing officer.
