UW Health celebrates graduates of its 2025–2026 Physician Leadership Development Program

UW Health celebrated the graduation of 26 physician leaders from the UW Health Physician Leadership Development Program on May 14, 2026. The program is a system-wide well-being initiative designed to equip physicians with critical leadership skills, positioning them to implement institutional strategies and meet future challenges in academic medicine. Led by UW Health’s Cory Geisler, vice president of provider services, the program empowers participants with vital tools for developing trust, building effective teams, holding effective meetings, managing conflict and performance, and leading strategic change. Four Department of Pediatrics members were among the 2025–2026 cohort graduates:

  • Ann Allen, MD, associate professor, Division of Hospital Medicine and Complex Care
  • Jessica Babal, MD, associate professor, Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine
  • Nina Menda, MD, associate professor, Division of Neonatology and Newborn Nursery
