The UW Health Pediatric and Adolescent Transgender Health (PATH) Clinic has provided compassionate, affirming, and evidence-based care for transgender and gender-diverse children, adolescents, and young adults across Wisconsin for more than 13 years. At its recent 30th Annual Celebration of Leadership event, GSAFE, a Wisconsin-based organization dedicated to creating just schools for LGBTQ+ youth, awarded the UW Health PATH Clinic with its Brave Space Award. This award is given to a person or group who has shown up bravely for the LGBTQ+ community. PATH Clinic’s work helps create safer, more affirming spaces where young people can access the care and support they deserve and thrive as their authentic selves.
