Congratulations to Julie Gocey, MD, MS, associate professor, Developmental Pediatrics and Rehabilitation Medicine, and Alanna Kessler-Jones, PsyD, from the University of Wisconsin’s Department of Neurology, who were recently awarded a 2022 Baldwin Wisconsin Idea Endowment Seed Grant for their project, “Developing a dyslexia toolkit for interprofessional care.” This one-year grant provides $4,000 to create and present training materials for local primary care providers and staff centered on recognizing reading disorders and dyslexia in children. Funding for this grant is made possible through a generous gift to UW–Madison from Ira and Ineva Reilly Baldwin.
