The UW Health Physician Leadership Development Program is designed to build key leadership skills through a year-long series of courses. Cohort members learn about strategic self-awareness and trust, building and leading successful teams, effective meetings and communication, resolving conflict, managing performance, how to effectively influence, and leading and managing strategic change. Four members of the Department of Pediatrics are among the 26 physicians selected for the Physician Leadership Development Program 2025-2026 cohort:
- Ann Allen, MD, associate professor, Division of Hospital Medicine and Complex Care
- Jessica Babal, MD, associate professor and member of the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, and interim co-chief in the Division of Child Protection
- Nina Menda, MD, associate professor, Division of Neonatology and Newborn Nursery
- Megan Peters, MD, associate professor, Division of Critical Care
The program begins in September.
