Title: Refreshing Our Joy in Clinical Teaching: Sharing Tips and Wisdom for “in-the-moment” Teaching
Session Overview:
During this month’s MESP hour, we will emphasize Scholarly Teaching as a complement to the Scholarship of Teaching. Using facilitated discussions, we will share our collected clinical teaching wisdom and pearls from our experiences, augmented with ideas from workshops, seminars, and medical education literature. Join us to expand your toolbox of “in-the-moment” teaching skills and to renew and refresh your joy in teaching in 2025!

Medical Education Scholars in Pediatrics (MESP) is a monthly Regularly Scheduled Series for faculty and trainees to conduct research in medical education, viewing medical education as a primary focus for academic scholarship. These sessions are intended to foster collaboration and disseminate knowledge to promote scholarship in medical education. Success will be measured by the quantity of scholarly output in medical education per academic year and number of faculty seeking or successfully completing promotion with Education as a primary or secondary focus.
MESP is open to all members of the Department of Pediatrics.
