Speak up for Children
The Department of Pediatrics is excited to present a day of advocacy facilitated by Jamie Poslosky. Poslosky is the Vice President of Strategic Communications at the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) in Washington, DC, where she brings over 15 years of experience. In this role, Jamie leads the Academy’s work to advance strategic communications initiatives, manage crises, and direct advocacy communications. Jamie also oversees the AAP’s new Center of Excellence on Social Media and Youth Mental Health, which serves as a centralized, trusted source of evidence and support for children and teens, parents, educators, pediatricians and other professionals who help youth navigate social media.
