Elizabeth Cox, MD, PhD, professor, General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, has been named director of the UW–Madison Prevention Research Center (UWPRC) effective December 1. The UWPRC aims to improve the health of low-income women, infants, and families by conducting health promotion and disease prevention research focused on maternal, infant, and child health.
