Congratulations to Pelin Cengiz, MD (Associate Professor (CHS), Division of Critical Care) on her receipt of the 2020 UW Department of Pediatrics Gerard B. Odell Research Award. This award was established in 1994 to honor Dr. Odell’s distinguished career in pediatric research, academia, clinical practice and education. The $5,000 award is given to an Assistant or Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics in recognition of outstanding research accomplishments and demonstrated potential for future contributions. Most recent past recipients include: Drs. David McCulley, Christian Capitini, Ryan Coller and J. Carter Ralphe. Dr. Cengiz will receive the award at the May 28, 2020 Odell Lecture, which will be given Dr. Katryn Furuya.
