The Department of Medicine announced the winners of its 2024 Clinical Excellence Awards last month. Among the winners was Joseph McBride, MD, an assistant professor in the Division of Infectious Diseases who holds a joint appointment in the Department of Medicine. The Outstanding Clinician Award recognizes an exemplary Department of Medicine clinician who is recognized by patients and families as a caring and dedicated health care provider; seen by their peers as having made substantial contributions to the clinical care of patients; and identified as a role model for residents, students, and faculty colleagues.
