Bruce Klein, MD, professor, Infectious Diseases, was recently awarded Catalyst Funding from the Canadian Institute for Advanced Research, in collaboration with program members David Blehert, PhD, United States Geographical Survey, and Don Sheppard, MD, McGill University. The Canadian-based global research organization funded the 18-month project, titled “Novel strategy to thwart White Nose Syndrome (WNS),” which will support pilot work in the development of strategies to prevent WNS. Klein’s lab will receive $6,750 for the project.
