Oskar Zarzycki, MD, MPH

Dr. Oskar Zarzycki was born in Omaha, Nebraska, but moved to Madison when he was five years old and has lived here since. He went to UW–Madison for his undergraduate degree in neurobiology. Pediatrics has always been a specialty of interest to him, and he is so excited to be a part of it. From meeting the amazing kids and families he’s worked with to seeing the joy on the faces of pediatricians he’s worked with, he knew this was the perfect fit for him. One of his favorite aspects of medicine is working on an interdisciplinary team and being able to hear diverse perspectives and brainstorm ideas to help the team consider all options to provide the best care. He is also interested in preventive medicine and is excited to learn more about it. When he’s not working, he enjoys spending time outside hiking, camping, playing soccer, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, snowboarding, and more.

“I grew up in Madison and have been lucky enough to stay here for undergrad at UW–Madison and medical school at the UW School of Medicine and Public Health. Madison has always felt like home, so naturally, I wanted to continue my training here.
