Hannah O'Brien, MD
Credentials: University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
Position title: PGY-2 Resident
Dr. Hannah O’Brien grew up in Northglenn, Colorado. She began her undergraduate degree in Texas but transferred to UW–Madison, where she majored in microbiology and psychology. She wanted to be a doctor since she was 7 years old and always enjoyed working with kids and families. Before medical school, O’Brien was a substitute teacher and most enjoyed learning how to communicate with kids of all ages. She loves how pediatrics isn’t only about treating an illness but also working with the whole family. O’Brien is particularly interested in working with kids with complex care needs and those who have been adopted. Outside of medicine, she spends most of her time with her two stepdaughters. She also has her hands full raising two puppies and enjoys cooking and board games.
