Professional Activities

Dr. Meg Scandura is clinical associate professor in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. Her career has been focused on general pediatrics and improving the health of the patients and families she serves. Scandura has been engaged in the communities where she has lived, serving leadership roles in youth and high school sports. She also was involved in local Girl Scout organizations, and served on a Child Fatality Review team for her county, which emphasized safety and prevention of childhood death.

Clinical Interests

Scandura is interested in bringing non-pharmaceutical approaches to lifestyle conditions requiring attention. She would like to bring the integrative medicine approach to each encounter she has with a patient, so that the mind-body-spirit connection is a part of the solution, if appropriate.
