Professional Activities
Dr. Kacie Rytlewski is assistant professor (CHS) in the Division of Infectious Diseases. Through telehealth, Rytlewski aims to improve access to specialized pediatric infectious diseases care throughout the state of Wisconsin. Rytlewski completed the Subspecialty Excellence in Educational Leadership and Scholarship (SEELS) program during her fellowship and is passionate about educating future pediatricians both formally and informally while on clinical service.
Clinical Interests
Rytlewski’s clinical interests include clinical presentations, disease course, complications, and treatment of respiratory virus infections as well as general pediatric infectious disease care. She is also interested in highlighting relevant infectious disease learning for all learners who rotate on service.
Research Interests
Rytlewski’s research includes studying the impact of and improving telehealth access to pediatric infectious diseases care, studying learner experiences with game-based learning (specifically educational escape rooms), and studying pediatric influenza through clinical outcomes research.
