Professional Activities

Dr. Regina Rosa is a clinical associate professor in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She works primarily in the urgent care and newborn clinics, where she also mentors and teaches pediatric residents and medical students. Rosa is an active member of the Department of Pediatrics Advocacy Committee and is a technical consultant in Global Health for the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). On an international level, Rosa is a mentor to health professionals through Health Volunteers Overseas.

Clinical Interests

As a general pediatrician, Rosa practices the whole spectrum of pediatrics from birth to adolescents to young adults. She is interested in primary prevention, parental education, mental health, and social determinants of health. Rosa’s primary focus is to support children and their families in challenging circumstances where urgent care is needed.
