Kristin Kohlmann, MD
Credentials: University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health
Position title: PGY-2 Resident
Dr. Kristin Kohlmann is from Oakfield, Wisconsin. She attended UW–Madison for her undergraduate degree, where she majored in genetics and global health. She loves pediatrics because it is such a diverse and varied field, including everything from caring for extremely preterm infants in the NICU to counseling adolescents on sexual and reproductive health. Kohlman has found children to be some of the most resilient and fun patients to care for. The actions pediatricians take now to improve their lives will continue paying dividends for decades to come. Kohlman is interested in infectious diseases, neonatal health, malnutrition, trauma and emergency response, the effects of climate change on health, and improving access to high-quality health care. Outside of medicine, she loves to spend time with her husband and son, traveling, hiking, reading, and trying new recipes.
