Dr. Dominic O. Co is associate professor (CHS) in the Division of Allergy, Immunology, and Rheumatology. Education is a central component of Co’s professional identity, evidenced through his focus on curriculum development and the presentation of educational sessions at every level of the continuum of medical education, from pre-clinical medical students through fellows and everything in between. His dedication to teaching extends beyond the traditional classroom setting, as demonstrated by his participation in Camp MASH, a summer camp for children with juvenile arthritis and other autoimmune diseases.

Co’s commitment to clinical excellence is evident in his establishment of specialized clinics for autoimmune skin diseases and pediatric acute-onset neuropsychiatric syndrome.

Research Interests

Co’s research interest primarily focuses on advancing the understanding the pediatric rheumatic diseases and developments in immunology. He is the principal investigator of the Observational Study of Pediatric Rheumatic Diseases: The CARRA Registry and junior clinical investigator on the Pediatric Rheumatology Collaborate Study Group (PRCSG) Advisory Council.
