Professional Activities
Dr. Boyett Anderson is assistant professor (CHS) in the Division of Pediatric Cardiology and a member of the Heart Program at UW Health Kids. She is a member of the Cardiac Neurodevelopmental Outcomes Collaborative (CNOC) and is an advocate for family-centered and developmentally supportive care of infants, children, and adolescents with cardiac disease.
Clinical Interests
Boyett Anderson provides ambulatory and inpatient management for children with pediatric and congenital heart disease. She has expertise in the neurodevelopmental impacts of congenital and pediatric heart disease as well as syndromes with both neurodevelopmental and cardiac manifestations, like William’s Syndrome. She also performs and interprets non-invasive diagnostic cardiac testing, including transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography.
Research Interests
Boyett Anderson’s research interests include the neurodevelopmental impacts of congenital heart disease on children and strategies to support these children’s health and development.
