Dr. Victoria Biancavilla

Dr. Victoria Biancavilla grew up in the town of Eastchester, New York, and spent her college years at Cornell University, where she majored in Global & Public Health Sciences. She chose pediatrics for its clinical breadth, patient-centered approach, and multidisciplinary nature. She is still undecided as to what she will ultimately pursue within pediatrics, but hopes to provide care to patients with chronic and complex conditions. Whichever subfield she ends up in, she’s eager to build strong connections with patients and their families, translate medical topics into approachable conversation, and advocate for patients both within the clinical context and on a broader policy level. Outside of medicine, she loves going to new restaurants and breweries, spending time with her partner and their cat, and enjoying the outdoors, whether hiking, biking, or kayaking.

Why Madison?

“Madison was a clear choice for me, for its expansive pediatrics program, its exceptionally welcoming and supportive learning environment, and its commitment to global and public health. Additionally, my partner is pursuing her PhD at the UW in Clinical Psychology.”
