Jasmine Zapata named chief medical officer, state epidemiologist

Jasmine Zapata, MD, MPH

Congratulations to Jasmine Zapata, MD, MPH, assistant professor, Neonatology and Newborn Nursery, on being named chief medical officer and state epidemiologist for community health at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. In this position, Zapata will provide medical and public heath consultation and leadership to bureau programs. She will also be the primary medical liaison for federal, state, and local organizations.
