Anna Hoefges, graduate student in the lab of Paul Sondel, MD, PhD, was recently awarded a Trainee Abstract Award from the American Association of Immunologists (AAI). Her abstract, entitled, “Thousands of new antigens are recognized in mice via endogenous antibodies after being cured of a B78 melanoma via immunotherapy” was selected for oral presentation at IMMUNOLOGY 2020(tm). This project will identify targets that mice develop antibodies against, either due to having a cancer or due to receiving a specified immunotherapy regimen. This award includes up to $750 in travel reimbursement to attend the AAI Annual Meeting held May 8-12, in Honolulu, Hawaii. Congratulations!
