Congratulations to Christian Capitini, MD, on his recent one-year supplement of $500,000 to the UW Carbone Cancer Center grant from the National Institutes of Health – National Cancer Institute (NIH/NCI). His project, “Image‐guided CAR T cell therapy for neuroblastoma,” will support research in cell‐based immunotherapies of human cancer by testing 3 exciting imaging technologies to study CAR T cell metabolism and track persistence in tumors non-invasively, potentially improving outcomes.
