Department of Pediatrics Supported Computer Purchases

All computer hardware (excluding faculty smartphones) and software used for departmental work must be purchased through the Pediatrics Computer Support team. All computers are purchased with a 3-year manufacturer’s warranty. The computers listed here reflect the recommended minimum for each system, based upon UW-Madison Administrative Excellence bundles (when available). This list is subject to change due to product availability and manufacturer pricing; similar computers and/or accessories may need to be substituted. Upgrades may be available for warranty, memory, storage, processor speed, and screen size. Prices will vary based on upgrades and accessories selected.

    • Pros: Standard model for admin staff, Peds IT often has extras on hand
