Congratulations to Bruce Klein, MD, Principal Investigator, and Marcel Wüethrich, PhD, Multiple PI, on the competitive renewal of their National Institutes of Health/National Institutes of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIH/NIAID) R01 grant entitled, “Mechanisms of antifungal vaccine immunity.” This project, which is now entering its 20th year, was funded in the amount of $2.8 million for years 20 through 24. During this 5-year renewal, the team aims to harness a novel antigen to elicit and analyze mechanisms of vaccine immunity against dimorphic fungi.
