The University of Wisconsin Department of Medicine hosted its 2026 Education Day on February 27. During the event, faculty and staff were recognized with the department’s annual education awards. Joseph (Joe) McBride, MD, MA, an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics Division of Infectious Diseases who holds a joint appointment with the Department of Medicine, received an Inspirational Educator Award. This honor recognizes faculty and APPs who display unparalleled energy, passion, and skill for educating students, residents, or fellows.
