Travel award supports Therese (Tess) Woodring’s attendance at Clinical Immunology Society Summer School

Therese (Tess) Woodring, MD, PGY-6 in the Hematology and Oncology Fellowship, received a travel award from the Clinical Immunology Society to attend its Summer School last month in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Woodring presented an atypical case of primary hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH) successfully treated with bone marrow transplant. This conference provides education relating to the diagnosis and management of inborn errors of immunity for physicians across multiple specialties, including Hematology/Oncology, Immunology, and Rheumatology.
