Professional Activities

Dr. Austin Stuckert is assistant professor (CHS) in the Division of Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplant and a member of the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center Developmental Therapeutics Program. She is involved in the Children’s Oncology Group and the Society of Neuro-Oncology as well as several consortia focused on the development and conduct of early-phase trials for central nervous system (CNS) tumors.

Clinical Interests

Stuckert’s clinical expertise is in pediatric neuro-oncology and cellular therapy. She participates in the Pediatric Neuro-Oncology and Pediatric Neurocutaneous Disorders multidisciplinary clinics at American Family Children’s Hospital.

Research Interests

Stuckert’s research aims to translate promising pre-clinical studies into practice in order to improve outcomes for patients with difficult-to-treat brain and spinal cord tumors. She is particularly interested in immunotherapeutic approaches and early-phase clinical trial design for central nervous system (CNS) tumors.
