Professional Activities

Dr. Carolyn Sleeth is assistant professor (CHS) in the Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. She is a rotation director for the ambulatory pediatrics rotation for the Pediatrics Residency Program. Within the residency program, she also serves as a continuity clinic preceptor.

Clinical Interests

Sleeth’s clinical interests include the care of formerly premature infants and preventive medicine through promotion of healthy lifestyles and mental health care.

Research Interests

Sleeth’s research focuses on medical education, specifically at the residency level and in the outpatient pediatric setting. Her intention is to increase provider autonomy and better prepare residents for independent primary care practice. Additionally, she focuses on the promotion of community health and well-being through collaboration with school districts and school medical advisors.
