Dr. Dinushan Kaluarachchi is an associate professor in the Division of Neonatology and Newborn Nursery. He serves as the Director of Neonatal Clinical Research at American Family Children’s Hospital (AFCH) and is an active member of the Society of Pediatric Research.
Kaluarachchi’s research focuses on respiratory distress syndrome and patent ductus arteriosus in preterm infants. He is currently working on several clinical research projects in collaboration with the Neonatal Research Network and the lung-pulmonary vascular group at UW–Madison. In addition, Kaluarachchi is the principal investigator for two clinical trials on minimally invasive surfactant administration techniques.
