Michelle Kelly, MD, PhD, professor, Division of Hospital Medicine and Complex Care, will serve as physician informaticist for acute care pediatrics at UW Health Kids. This role is instrumental in integrating clinical services and health care technologies across the UW Health system, helping to align operations with clinical effectiveness and advance the goals of quality, safety, and strategic care delivery. Kelly brings more than a decade of experience in pediatric informatics, innovation, and patient care. She has led multiple initiatives to improve health IT at American Family Children’s Hospital, including the nationally recognized Bedside Notes Project. Her leadership and expertise will help strengthen our informatics strategy and support excellent outcomes for patients and families.
