Carter Ralphe, MD, recently received $50,000 from the Children’s Cardiomyopathy Foundation for his project, “3D Engineered Cardiac Tissue: A novel tool to unravel genotype/phenotype relationships in MYBPC3-associated childhood hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.” This project aims to foster a better understanding of childhood onset HCM and support specific strategies to improve treatment options.
