Dipesh Navsaria, MPH, MSLIS, MD was named a recipient of the AAP’s Special Achievement Award at the AAP District VI Meeting held June 4-7 in Chicago. Dr. Navsaria was recognized for his “distinguished service and dedication to the mission and goals of the Academy” for his work as the Wisconsin Chapter’s resident liaison and resident CATCH* coordinator, his leading the Reach Out And Read program in his community, and his “ardent advocacy work to improve children’s health.
