Amaya Gatling, digital communications intern, completed her undergraduate career in May 2023 and will be moving to Seattle, Washington, this summer to enter the Master of Public Health in Global Health program at the University of Washington. Amaya joined the Department of Pediatrics communications team in September 2022 to help collect, format, and post faculty biographies on the department website. Since then, Amaya helped complete 61% of all department faculty biographies. She also contributed to the residency program’s 2023 Match Campaign by creating Instagram videos about reasons to rank #WiscPedsRes. These projects benefited from Amaya’s dedication and creativity.
