Paul Sondel, MD, PhD, was recently awarded $50,000 from the Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer for his project, “Development of intratumoral and systemic neuroblastoma therapy using Hu14.18-IL2 plus resveratrol and by controlled release with IPN.” The purpose of this project is to pursue ways that hu14.18-IL2 can be used in strategies that may have potent effects against macroscopic sites of disease while also eradicating microscopic distant metastases.
