Professional Activities

Dr. Kimberly Vidmar is assistant professor (CHS) in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes. As a pediatric endocrinologist, her quality improvement work includes improving care for children with diabetes through increased access to diabetes technology, improved clinic workflows, and more equitable care delivery. Vidmar also enjoys mentoring learners and creating engaging educational experiences that build confidence in managing pediatric endocrine conditions.

Clinical Interests

Vidmar’s clinical practice spans the full spectrum of pediatric endocrinology. She enjoys caring for children and adolescents with a wide range of endocrine conditions through her work in general endocrinology clinic, diabetes clinic, and the fitness clinic. She is particularly passionate about building long-term relationships with patients and their families, partnering with them throughout childhood and adolescence to help them achieve their health goals.

Research Interests

Vidmar’s research interests center on improving outcomes for children and adolescents through quality improvement, implementation science, and medical education. Her work has focused on expanding equitable access to diabetes technology, optimizing clinical workflows, and developing innovative educational programs for patients, families, and health care professionals.
