Welcome to the University of Wisconsin Pediatric Infectious Diseases fellowship program! Our ACGME-accredited program educates physicians to become leaders in the subspecialty of pediatric infectious diseases. Over the three years of your fellowship, you’ll receive education in the optimal care of children with unusual or complicated infectious diseases; develop skills required for teaching and leadership; and advance the field through research and educational endeavors. To help you accomplish this, our program offers balanced, well-organized and progressive clinical, technical, teaching, research, and consultative experiences. Specifically, it encompasses basic concepts in immunology, epidemiology, public health, clinical pharmacology, microbiology and infection control as they relate to patient care and training in the prevention of infectious diseases. Finally, you’ll work as part of a dynamic team in a vibrant city that is frequently ranked among the very best places to live in the nation. Thank you for your interest, and we look forward to meeting you!
