Tess Jewell wins Academic Pediatric Association’s Trainee Research Abstract Award for Students

Fifth-year medical student Tess Jewell won the Academic Pediatric Association’s Trainee Research Abstract Award for Students for her abstract titled “Impact of legislation restricting access to gender-affirming care for youth in the United States on medical student plans for residency.” She presented it at this year’s Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) conference, which took place in Honolulu, Hawaii, April 24–28.
