Professional Activities

Dr. Allison Redpath is associate professor (CHS) in the Division of Nephrology and director of pediatric dialysis. She is a pediatric nephrologist who provides care for pediatric transplant patients. Redpath is an active member of several professional societies including the American Society of Pediatric Nephrology and the International Pediatric Nephrology Association.

Clinical Interests

Redpath’s clinical specialties include hypertension, chronic kidney disease, dialysis, and the care of patients with acute kidney injury in critical care settings.

Research Interests

As medical director of pediatric dialysis, Redpath works to ensure that dialysis is available, safe, and effective for children with kidney failure. Recent advancements in pediatric dialysis at the UW can be attributed to Redpath’s quality improvement research and initiatives, and her ongoing QI efforts continuously help improve care for children.
